Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research project aims to analyze the factors that contribute to this reduction in congestion and to evaluate the role of city logistics in improving traffic efficiency. The research will address several fundamental inquiries, including the primary factors that contribute to congestion reduction and the role of city logistics in this process. Furthermore, the research methodology will entail the collection of secondary data from a range of sources, including the TomTom Traffic Index, previous journal articles, and reports from the Surabaya City government. By employing the theoretical frameworks of transportation systems, city logistics, and traffic management, this research aims to provide data-driven policy recommendations for policymakers, best practice guidelines for logistics service providers, and a deeper understanding of the role of city logistics among the general public.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap penurunan kemacetan dan mengevaluasi peran city logistics dalam peningkatan efisiensi lalu lintas. Beberapa ide dasar dan pertanyaan yang ingin dijawab diantaranya faktor utama yang mengurangi kemacetan serta bagaimana city logistics membantu. Metodologi penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data sekunder dari TomTom Traffic Index, jurnal terdahulu, dan laporan pemerintah Kota Surabaya. Dengan menggunakan teori sistem transportasi, city logistics, dan manajemen lalu lintas, penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan berbasis data untuk pembuat kebijakan, panduan praktik terbaik untuk penyedia layanan logistik, dan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat umum tentang peran city logistics.
